Air Canada has round trip airfares travelling from Los Angeles (LAX) to Nagoya Japan (NGO) for $465 including taxes and fees. This makes 1 stop in Vancouver Canada (YVR).

Travel Availability:
Departs LAX: Aug 30; Sept 3, 5, 6, 10, 12, 13, 17, 19, 24; Oct 18
Returns: Sept 3, 5, 6, 10, 12, 13, 17, 19, 20, 24, 26; Oct 22, 25

Book this on Priceline [priceline.com]. Works best if you pick one of those departure dates and returning 7 days later. If $414 is not coming up for you, search using "flexible" dates.

Sample attached.

Thanks, Flight Deal!

OP why don't you tell everyone how long is the flight with one layover?
Took same flight lax-Tokyo with no layover and it was 12 hours( $600 )everything I check based on the dates listed by you is a minimum 20 hours to an insane 32 hours flight
Of course I have not checked every single date but as far as I'm concerned if you have to fly 20+ hours is not worth it no matter how much you save
i meant to put how long the layover in vancouver was (i got 13 hrs) but i told my friend instead so when i typed it out, it kinda released from my mind.

anyways, i'm not a big fan of air canada because unless you're going to canada, it makes an inconvenient stop somewhere in canada.

however, that said...13 hrs in vancouver is a 2-in-1! i hear their chinatown closely resemble hong kong.
Some people genuinely don't feel that way. I agree with you which is why I fly in to Haneda if I can, plus there are usually good prices there for some reason. Much closer to the city and less hassle through immigration and customs plus no need to take the Narita Express or the hotel bus service so it's even cheaper!

Bahh a month ago I flew lax-Tokyo for $600 12 hours flight

$150 is not worth the extra 8+ hours

I actually used Chase points 58k per seat

Nice find! Wish i could set return date for April or May but at that price even missing the return would be worth it.

fml right when school starts again. I guess that makes sense for the price dip. Holding out for that convenient winter break/ spring break dates like last year.

Slickdeals actually kinda late to this party.. I booked the actual deal dates from this 4 months ago. $362 round trip to Nagoya, only a 1 hour layover in vancouver.

I would suggest passing until the next deal, all the good dates with short layovers are gone.

I noticed often times, OP just repost flight deals from other sites :-)
